14" tall, bisque sockethead child by Schoenau & Hoffmeister, Germany and incised: 5500 S (pb in star) H dep. 6/0 a. Charming girl with beautiful bisque having large, blue glass set eyes, multi-stroke upper & lower lashes open mouth with teeth, original, soft blond curly wig with bangs, original quality, ball-jointed body (one leg is a replaced antique, similar one), original good finish (one pinkie chipped). She is wearing most of her orig clothing, a lovely brown satin gown trimmed with bead work, antique slip and undies, black cotton stockings. Has a tiny kiln dot on forehead. SWEET.
