Wonderful and very difficult to find model of "Danny" by Emma Clear, c.1941 fully signed:copyright 1941, Emma Clear 41 on the back of his shoulderplate 16" tall, glazed china young boy with side-parted brunette (black) hair, exposed ears, intaglio blue eyes with double-lid lines, extremely fine details to the facial modeling with very lifelike hands and bare feet with one hand molded to hold (fishing pole?), stuffed cloth torso, upper arms & upper legs with glazed china lower arms and legs with foot and toe detail. He wears original plaid cotton shirt and light blue denim overalls and is in excellent condition-by doll artist, Emma Clear, California.
