20" tall, hard plastic body with vinyl head and arms, mint-in-box, DOREENA, "Toe Dancing Ballerina Doll" (printed on box cover), with jointed knees and ankles, with pink Capezio toe shoes. Produced by Valentine Dolls, Inc. NY c.1955, (see "Har Plastic Dolls II-Judd, page 209) she has rooted, medium brown long hair pulled up into a twist with thick bangs, sleep blue eyes, closed mouth, rooted lashes as well as painted lower lashes and excellent coloring, pierced ears with pearl earrings. She wears her gold ballerina tutu with pink tulle skirt over another pink tulle skirt, pink taffeta panties and pink tights.
